Back to Reality.

My parents' visit has come and gone, and the time absolutely flew by. I had a great time playing tourist with them, and it was so good to see them and have them see my new home and meet all of the people in my life. It was hard to see them go, but February's not that far away, right?

I'm still recovering a bit from Saturday night. Our Buck and Doe was amazing and I am so thankful for all of our friends, family, and the community that we live in. With that in mind, I'll leave you with these two pictures. The first was sunrise early Sunday morning; how I managed to think of grabbing the camera after only 3 hours sleep (and my fair share of rye and cokes) is beyond me. The second is of Tassy-Lou showing off the picnic table that my Dad made. He brought it all the way from BC for us! Mike and I have already eaten dinner at it, and I just might have to have my breakfast and coffee there in the coming mornings before the frost comes!
