Subway Tile Sneak Peek

On Wednesday I promised a post with a tile update. Well, we're not as far along as I thought we'd be (does anything ever happen on time in renovations?!), but here's a quick look to give you an idea of what we're going to end up with! Some of you have seen this already on Twitter and Facebook, but...





It's all sorts of glorious, and I may or may not be skipping into the bathroom, pausing to stare, and then smiling stupidly as I carry on with my day.

I've been working a bit on repairing and sanding the original door trim in preparation for priming and painting, and I've also got an above the toilet tank storage solution in the works - check back on Monday for another update!

I haven't forgotten about the upstairs hall, but it's just been waaaaay too hot to be painting lately. Hopefully there will be a break in the weather (at least the humidity) sometime soon.
