Not much of a start, but still a start.
I've patched holes, but not sanded them.
I've bought sample pots of paint, but only used one of them.
Which brings me to the point of this post. The sample pot that I tried out is not what I'm after for the upstairs hall, but I do really, really like the colour.

Para Paints SR33 Eyelet is a gorgeous light-springy-minty-subtle green. It looks florescent next to the wood trim in the hall, but I think would look brilliant with crisp white trim and cherry red accents. Maybe for a bedroom?
Most of the minty greens in the following pictures are a lot more intense than Eyelet, but I think it gets the feel across.
